MPE was founded in 2013 with the aim of establishing an international centre for the analysis and planning of energy networks.

Now operating across three locations – Tübingen (Germany), Kiel (Germany) and London (UK) - with over 20 engineers, our team incorporates a broad range of power system engineering, simulation, and economic knowledge. Our engineers come into MPE from a range of different backgrounds including transmission & distribution system operators, power station developers, power system analysis software suppliers, and other consultants. This mix of expertise puts us in a unique position to provide practical solutions and balanced input from the perspective of both system operator and generator.

 

We have a strong international orientation. Our engineers are working with power grids in all parts of the world. We know the network operation "from the inside" and pride ourselves on being innovative consultants who propose feasible and cost-effective solutions.
